Wellness within your own home and yourself

Functional Wellness

Feeling overwhelmed within your home? Me too.

As a working mom, wife, aunt, sister, daughter, and citizen, I find it incredibly overwhelming to walk into my home and see “stuff”, piles and piles of “stuff”. Whether that be dishes in the sink, toys covering the kitchen table, or food left out on the kitchen island, it continues into the bathroom floor full of all the kids’ clothes from the past two days because it has become our dressing room and my brain shuts down.

It is morally neutral to make your bed, fold laundry, and keep up with daily tasks. Inspired by therapist and author, KC Davis, I’d love to help you find sustainable systems within your home and daily life that actually work for you. Together, we can build (actually) sustainable practices to make your home life and day-to-day less overwhelming and more manageable. The end goal is for you to feel more at peace within your home and within yourself.

Creating organization while simultaneously building self compassion. Organization is not tidy, it is functional. This can be especially helpful for anyone who has a mental health diagnosis, a chronic illness, and neurodivergent folks.

Some core values/beliefs for this program:

  • Everything worth doing is worth doing half-assed

  • Organization/tidiness is not moral, it is functional

  • Everything doesn’t have to be clean at once

  • Every household and every family has different needs, strengths, and desires that require different systems

Cost: $200/hour

I offer a free consultation to discuss what your goals are and to make sure we are a good fit. The first session is typically more in depth consultation that can be a two hour session including some ”work” for a sense of accomplishment right away.
