Meet the anxiety therapist in Galena, Ohio who’s here to help.
Sarah Mooney MSW, LSW
I help kids, teens, and young adults navigate anxiety, perfectionism, overwhelm, self-doubt, and life transitions. I especially enjoy working with high-achieving teens, college students, and helping professionals who spend so much time caring for others that they forget to care for themselves. Together, we'll work to quiet your inner critic, build confidence, and create a life that feels more authentic and fulfilling.

TAKING THE FIRST STEP DOESN’T HAVE TO FEEL OVERWHELMING
Here’s what getting started looks like
Step 1. Book a free 15-minute consultation call
Starting therapy can feel overwhelming, and it's completely normal to have questions. Booking a free 15-minute consultation is an easy, no-pressure first step. Simply click the button below to choose a time that works for you. We can meet in person or virtually through our secure client portal, Sessions Health. During our conversation, we'll discuss what's been bringing you in, what you're hoping to get out of therapy, and whether we're a good fit. My goal is simply to help you feel informed, comfortable, and supported as you decide on your next steps.
Step 2. We’ll create a plan together
If you decide to move forward, we'll schedule your first appointment and go over everything you need to know. During our first few sessions, I'll take time to understand your story, your strengths, and your goals so we can create a treatment plan that feels right for you.
Step 3. Start building the life you want
Therapy isn't about "fixing" you, because you aren't broken. Together, we'll help you understand your anxiety, quiet your inner critic, develop practical coping skills, and build confidence so you can feel more like yourself again.

You don't have to be in crisis to benefit from therapy. If anxiety, stress, emotions, or life's challenges are making daily life harder than it needs to be, therapy can help you build skills, gain insight, and feel more confident moving forward.
-
The first session is all about getting to know you. We'll talk about what's bringing you to therapy, your goals, and begin creating a plan together. You don't need to prepare anything special, just come as you are.
-
Absolutely. Starting therapy can feel intimidating, especially if it's your first time. Many people worry about what to say or whether they'll be judged. Our goal is to create a welcoming, supportive space where you can move at your own pace. You don't have to have everything figured out before you come in.
